4 French Terrorists Linked to ISIS Arrested in Morocco

The Moroccan authorities arrested today 4 French citizens linked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria terrorist organization.

 The arrests were made in the Moroccan cities of Marrakesh and Laayoune. One of the suspects was probably aiming to commit terrorist acts in Morocco as the Moroccan authorities said that he “was suspiciously collecting information on public facilities.”

A statement form the Moroccan Ministry of Interior, relayed by Maghreb Agency Press,  said that “upon intelligence reports of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), the National Squad of the Judicial Police (BNJP) services arrested on November 13, 2014 four French Islamists, including two of Polish and Rwandese origins, settled in the cities of Laayoune and Marrakesh on suspicion of links with terrorist organizations in some hotbeds of tension”

“one of the suspects has dubious travels to Egypt and Yemen, attracted attention by his extremist speech, while another was suspiciously collecting information on public facilities,” Maghreb Agency Press relayed from the Ministry of Interior.
