The Moroccan Minister of Justice Mr. Ramid has given his orders to open an investigation with a Moroccan gendarme, following the emergence of a video on Youtube showing the said gendarme “insulting Allah.”
The said video (video above) went viral among Moroccans on social media. It triggered dismay and condemnation against the act.
It all started when the said gendarme arrested a young girl in an unidentified beach for “not wearing her bras,” while in company with boyfriends, The Moroccan Times understands from the narrative of the video.
The gendarme then lauds of critics the young lady, tags her and her mom as “whores,” before insulting Allah the Almighty.
He literally said “go F**k yourself and your God.”
It is worth reminding that in Morocco, insulting God is considered a crime under what is commonly refered to as the “Lèse-majesté”, a law that penalizes anyone who insults God, the Nation or the King.
