The ISIS terrorist group released a video showing the beheading of a former US army member Abdul-Rahman Kassig last Sunday.

Morocco, through the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has strongly condemned the beheading of the American Muslim convert Abderrahman Kassig by the so-called “Islamic” State of Iraq and Syria.

A communiqué from the Ministry of Foreign affairs said that “Morocco strongly condemns the beheading, on Sunday, November 16th 2014, of the American hostage Peter Abderrahman Kassig, claimed by the terrorist organization “Daech” and expresses “its disapproval of this odious criminal act that goes against the universal moral and human values, including the tolerant teachings of Islam, which honor the human being and defend the right to life.”

“Morocco, which extends its sincere condolences to the family of the American citizen and the government and people of the United States, reiterates its “firm and constant position against terrorism” and calls for the need to intensify the efforts of the international community to fight against the despicable scourge of terrorism, in all its forms, which represents a global threat to human life, wherever and whatever its adherence is, and hinders development and stability in the world,” the statement closed.
