The Moroccan game Trombiya was elected the best game during the third edition of the prestigious Arabnet Conference, held in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh between 11-13 November.
The prestigious event, which is the largest gathering for digital professionals and entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, witnessed the participation of an array of participants from different countries. The list included more than 80 experts from the fields of technology and entrepreneurship, let alone the participation of more than 800 professionals from the digital field at large.
The Moroccan game Trombiya was able to rack up from a pile of 30 competitors.
The event was also a good occasion to assess and promote the gaming industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
It is worth pointing out that Trombiya was developed by the Moroccan company Lorem, founded by Anas El Filali.
Trombiya is sponsored by INWI, a Moroccan telecommunication company that is well-known for its support to various Moroccan start-ups and local talents.
