According to a recent report quoted by Morocco’s leading Economy news outlet Leconomiste, the number of French tourists that visited the kingdom between May-October 2014 has dropped by a 15% factor.

The report Leconomiste quotes from was performed by the Union of Tour Operators in France, commonly known as Le Syndicat des Tour-operating de France (Seto).

Leconomiste further noted that one of the main reasons behind this plummeting is the “ISIS security notice” issued by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to all French nationals who live/or want to travel to Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Yemen and Mali asking them to be “extremely carefully.”
