Real Madrid’s talismanic defender Sergio Ramos said during a press conference before today’s final game of the FIFA 2014 Clubs World cup that in Morocco, the real Madrid players feel “like at home.”
“During the semi-finals we noticed the love from the supporters in the Marrakech Stadium,” the player said.
“It seemed like we were playing at home,” Ramos further noted.
“That sums up the greatness of this team.
“The feelings of the past two days have been good and positive,” Ramos said.
It is worth noting that due the historical and genetic ties between Moroccans and Spanish people, let alone talking about Morocco’s proximity to Spain, the majority of Moroccans either support Real Madrid or Barcelona.
