Morocco’s head of the government Mr. Abdellilah Benkirane and his wife Mrs. Nabila Benkirane will fly to Brasilia on December 30th to represent Morocco at the investiture ceremony of the newly elected President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff.
In the wake of the event, some Moroccan news outlets are focusing more their attention on the prospective djellaba Mrs. Benkirane is expected to wear during the investiture ceremony, especially that her attire at the White House back at summer time sparked controversy among Moroccans.
Back then, Moroccans were split into two groups, those who liked Mrs Benkirane’s attire and said it fully “represents mainstream Moroccan women” and others who heavily criticized “her choice of colors.”
