The terrorist group Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), which is based in Yemen, admitted responsibility for the Charlie Hebdo carnage in a recent video uploaded over the net.

In the said video, AQAP did not only admit responsibility when saying that they “chose the target, laid out the plan and financed the operation” , but also warned “the Western world and those who support it” of more tragedies and terror.”

The video was entitled “A message on the Blessed Battle of Paris.’

In the video, a top Al-Qaeda member that goes by the name Nasr Al-Ansi said that “France deserved what happened.”

“Let’s face it. It is France that has shared all of America’s crimes. It is France that has committed crimes in Mali and the Islamic Maghreb. It is France that supports the annihilation of Muslims in Central Africa in the name of race cleansing,” Al-Ansi said.
