Morocco has been offcially banned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) from the next two upcoming editions of the Africa Cup of Nations as a punishment for refusing to host the 2015 edition on schedule.

Morocco will also be fined around $9 Millions.

The controversial president of the CAF Hayatou said earlier that “we are going to stick to the rules, that means elimination from the next two Nations Cups. On top of that there will be the financial and moral damages to calculate.”

Morocco has stated it won’t give up and will take the case to justice as “it only refused to host the cup on schedule due to the deadly Ebola threat.”
