Morocco expressed its strong condemnation to the terrorist attacks which saw four Tunisian gendarmes in the governorate of Kasserine pass away.
A statement from Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation said that “the Kingdom of Morocco expresses its sincere condolences and compassion to the Government and people of the Republic of Tunisia, and to the families of the victims.”
The statement further added that “Morocco reiterates its solidarity with Tunisia in its efforts to fight terrorism, which undermines its security and stability, in order to consolidate its democratic dynamism and to maintain its national cohesion.”
“Morocco, which condemns all terrorist acts, calls for stepping up and coordinating efforts at regional and international levels, to face the scourge of terrorism and extremism, which poses a real threat to international peace and security,” the statement closed.
