The video underneath features a young Muslim man, originally from Egypt, who says he had enough of the bad habit of stealing and “decided to end it by cutting both hands.”
The man featured in the leading Egyptian show “Al Mosamih Karim,” which may translate in English to “The One Who Forgives Is Great.”
The host of the show, George Kordahi, said that the case he is about to present is “unbelievable and will shock you, as it myself shocked me to a degree you won’t imagine.”
The man said that “after various unsuccessful attempts to stop his bad habit of stealing, I resorted to cut both hands, because there was no way around to stop it.”
“I did this as I wanted to repent and get closer to God,” the young man said in a crying tone.
When his dad discovered what his son has done to himself, he was shocked to the point he decided to never talk to him again.
The show’s host invited the dad with an aim to try to smooth the air between the two.
