I wrote before that the roots of radicalism lie within the layers of Muslim nation (Ummah), and if there are any outside contributors to fuel more the already existing fanaticism in Islam, it is because we, Muslims, set the ground for them to widen the gap and differences between all sects of Islam. Those differences should not be there to begin with; Islam came as a ONE religion and faith, and never pushed for a sectarian faith. God said: ولاتفرقوا شيعا فتضلوا عن سبيل الله.
So the million Dollars question that enforces itself here and since ever is why on earth we encounter many sects in Islam? What are the roots of sectarianism? Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) conveyed the true message of God, and his message was clear and complete. It promoted peace and coexistence between all humanity. Sectarianism began after the fourth Caliph Ali, and ever since, I can state that the seeds of a new era of Islam have been planted, and Islam began to shift from a Holy Doctrine to a folkloric faith.
What the world is witnessing today is, by no means, the doing of foreign entities trying to destroy Muslims’ faith from within; not at all, but it is rather based on what those Jihadists have fostered through thousands of false Hadiths or what is called in Arabic إسرائيليات. The culture of beheading was not known during the prophet’s era, so why is it popular now among those who fight and carry those killings in the Holy name of God? The Holy Koran did not promote tormenting, agonizing and beheading a human soul, and when it did, it was for very specific conditions and under strict rules, not willy-nilly as we see it these days.
Let us say, hypothetically speaking, that the West, Israel and the Devil are all after destroying Muslims’ faith and divide them. Are Muslims that naïve to not even be able to protect their faith and religion? Let us even say that Muslim leaders are oppressive and tyrannical. How comes that 1.5 Billion Muslims could not stand up to 49 Muslim leaders? I mean, this does not add up, and if we accept that those leaders are conspiring against their own people, then I must say that those 1.5 Billion Muslims are sheep and are happy to remain as such.
Some will think that I am targeting Islam and want to degrade Muslims, or even accuse me of being an infiltrator and interloper, but I am not imagining what I write and speak out of the blue. I researched many folkloric books and what I encountered proved to me that Muslim clergies found the roots for radicalism and extremism over millennia ago. What we see before our eyes todays is our own doing. We found it, we protected it, we sanctified those preachers and we were all brainwashed into believing that their words are too holy to even debate, while they were just humans, no better than any other man who can use his brain and interpret the words of God according to his understanding. At the end of the day, it is up-to the Deity to judge us in the afterlife, and no man has the right to punish a fellow human for not obeying the words of the Creator. God said in the Holy Koran: فإن أعرضوا فما أرسلناك عليهم حفيظا، إن عليك إلا البلاغ. He also said:
.فذكر إنما أنت مذكر، لست عليهم بمسيطر إلا من تولى وكفر فيعذبه الله العذاب الأكبر، إن إلينا إيابهم ثم إن علينا حسابهم
So based on what grounds the militants of the “Islamic State”, Al-Qaeda, Front of Al-Nusrah or any other Salafi network or Jihadist base their killings on? God Himself Has reserved the right to judge and punish all those who disobeyed Him on Earth. Aren’t they interfering with God’s job?! Their problem is that they believe that they are the only ones who understand Islam and God better than any other human being. They believe that they carry a special mandate to represent the Deity on Planet Earth. God wanted Islam to spread in a peaceful manner, but these Islamists want to spread terror and bring havoc to humanity, God preserved humans’ blood and they want bloodshed. This is not the Islam Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) brought to people; this is their own Islam, the Islam of Mullahs and clergies, the Islam of Al-Bukhari, Moslem and Ibn Taymiyya.
While Islam is a religion of tolerance and coexistence; a religion that promotes peace and respect for other religions and faiths, Abrahamic or otherwise, we have been witnessing for Centuries that many Muslim preachers and clergies have been promoting hatred and rancor between faiths and people. God and Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) emphasized on respecting every religion, and by doing so, Muslims are abiding by God’s Divine words. Many Christians and Jewish have been persecuted, prosecuted and even lost their lives because they chose not to believe in Islam. In the book of Moslem صحيح مسلم, we find a very interesting, weird and a ridiculous Hadith attributed to Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), in which we clearly read that the Prophet promoted hatred and hostility towards Christians and Jews. Here is the text of the Hadith in Arabic: يجيء يوم القيامة ناس من المسلمين بذنوب أمثال الجبال فيغفرها الله لهم ويضعها على اليهود والنصارى
This means that all Muslims’ sins will be transferred to Christians and Jews on Judgment Day as a reward of fostering Islam, while God forbade injustice on Himself and said in the Holy Koran: وما ربك بظلام للعبيد. This includes all humans regardless of their faiths. Muslims these days seem to forget that one of God’s names is The Just! Moreover, why this Hadith excluded Buddhists, Magians, Hindus, Pagans and others faiths? Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was too good to deliver such a statement.
In addition to what have been stated, many around the world have seen many gruesome images or videos of human beings losing their lives in vain. Those fanatics and radicals justify their beheadings and killings that the victims were apostates مرتدون.
I challenge any Muslim to cite a single verse in the Holy Koran in which God ordered those who revert from Islam to be killed.
God said in the Holy Book: إن الذين آمنوا ثم كفروا ثم آمنوا ثم كفروا ثم ازدادوا كفرا لم يكن الله ليغفر لهم. Therefore, He did NOT order His Prophet to execute any person leaving Islam for another faith. Now can anyone sane explain to the world what is going on, and why millions throughout history have lost their lives in God’s Holy name?
There is no doubt that there are many legitimate Hadiths of the Prophet of Islam, but that does not mean that those books contain many false ones that promote nowadays hatred and the chaos Muslims are enduring. What is really striking is the manner many contemporary Muslim scholars feel powerless to amend those man-written books. What stops them from revising the books of Al-Bukhari and Moslem?
Muslims have hijacked their own faith by idolizing preachers while neglecting the true words of God. It does not make any sense that the militants of any terror group ignore what God said; instead, they cite what many preachers have issued as fatwas over thousand years ago. Many Muslims have became slaves to the books of Al-Bukhari and Moslem and Ibn Taymiyya.
We cannot blame our flaws on others and claim that it is never our fault. We cannot play the role of victims all the time and claim that the world is after destroying our heritage and us. We are doing that to ourselves without realizing it. Muslims are standing still and unable to review their own heritage. They sanctify many books instead of the Holy Koran, which contains the secrets of true Islam.
We have been introduced, ladies and gentlemen, to a new Doctrine, a new Islam; the Islam of ISIL and Al-Qaeda, the Islam of Ibn Taymiyya and many warlords and religion traders. This is not the Islam of Mohammed, this is not the Islam of God, this is instead the Islam of terror, the Islam that promotes blood and hatred is not of God or Mohammed, the Islam of intolerance is not of the God of all humans.
To counter terrorism and extract radicalism in Islam, there is no need to invest Billions of Dollars in Drones and armament, but we can invest few Millions in educating our youth about their true religion and encourage Muslim scholars to revise all ancient folkloric books, which were written by humans, just like us, and make the Holy Koran the sole solid source for any Islamic ritual along with any Hadith that does not contradict the Holy Book. Otherwise, all humanity is contributing in expediting Armageddon, and by the look at the current events, it seems very near.
