In the wake of the recent visit of Laurent Fabius, French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, to the Kingdom of Morocco, France reiterated its support to Morocco’s Autonomy proposal.
The French – Moroccan Joint Statement released in the aftermath of Le Quai d’Orsay’s visit to the kingdom said that “France supports the Moroccan autonomy plan, as a serious and credible basis, for a negotiated solution, in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council.”
