Rabat, Morocco- The Moroccan ambassador to Russia, Mr Abdelkader Lachhab said recently in an interview given to Russian Sputnik News Agency that the Moroccan monarch will be heading soon to Russia for an official visit.
Though the Moroccan ambassador did not specify the dates nor the duration of the visit, the man stressed that the visit will come to boost the cooperation between the two countries in various sectors.
King Mohammed VI’s visit was scheduled to take place last year during the month of June, before getting postponed.
It is worth noting that Morocco is Russia’s top trade partner in Africa and the Arab World, and that Morocco’s exports to Russia mainly concern the agricultural sector.
