As statement from Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affaris and cooperation said that “Morocco strongly condemns the series of terrorist attacks that targeted, on Thursday, April 2nd2015, at dawn, forces of the Egyptian army, near Sheikh Zuwaïd, in the Egyptian region of Sinai, leaving dozens of deaths and injured.”
“While extending its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the Egyptian government and people, the Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its rejection and condemnation of these cowardly terrorist acts which aim at endangering the security and the stability of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, and disrupting its overall development process,” the statement further noted.
“The Kingdom of Morocco also reaffirms its support to the Government and people of Egypt, to face the scourge of terrorism, which is against human values and the teachings of the holy Muslim religion,” the statement closed.
