Tan-Tan, Morocco (TMT) – 31 people, including various kids and young athletes, passed away burned alive (check video underneath) after that fire broke out in a CTM coach, few seconds after a collision that saw the said CTM crash into a fish lorry that was carrying illegally chemical products in the vicinity of Tan-Tan, Morocco.

Among the victims are school pupils and young athletes, who were heading back home to Laayoune after they took part of a national sports event, organized by the Moroccan Ministry of Youth and Sports in Bouznika, 30 km away from Morocco’s capital Rabat.

The fatal crash occurred around 7.am. local time in the rural town of Chebika, 52 km away from Tan-Tan.

Among the victims are also personalities representing the local branch of the Moroccan Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The well-known Moroccan runner Sokar Mohammed was said to be among the victims, but the authorities did not confirm that yet.

When the authorities came at the scene, they only found the charred bodies of the victims.

The death toll stands now at 31, in addition to 9 injured in very critical conditions.
