Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- According to a story shared last Friday on Al-Arab, a United Kingdom based news outlet, Egyptian president Sisi will be paying an official visit to the kingdom of Morocco in the upcoming days.
Al Arab says that the piece of news was divulged by an Egyptian diplomatic source.
The said source further noted that King Mohammed VI will be receiving Sisi to hold talks mainly about the ongoing situation in Libya, and to a lesser extent about the situation in the Middle East in general.
Al Arab did not mention the exact date for Sisi’s visit to Morocco, but hinted out that it will take place at the end of this month.
It is worth reminding that both Egypt and Morocco are major players in the Saudi Arabia-led coalition that aims at crippling the Houthis in Yemen to restore the legitimacy of ousted Yemeni president Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
