Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- On the sidelines of the Moroccan government’s weekly meeting held every Thursday, Morocco’ s head of government, Mr. Abdellilah Benkirane shed light today on the controversy sparked yesterday in the wake of the leaking of various baccalaureate tests.
Among others, Benkirane stressed that “those who leaked the exams are traitors, traitors who betrayed the oath and betrayed their countries.”
“We need to watch out and to be very critical with those traitors.
“I consider this act as an act of betrayal to the country,” Benkirane said in a firm tone.
“The national education, among others, is an enormous responsibility bestowed upon our shoulders.
“We will be very harsh with those who did this, and the law will be put into practice,” Benkirane stressed.
“Every citizen should be aware that the security of a nation is the concern of all Moroccans. Those people are putting the national security of our country into jeopardy.
“They are putting the image of Morocco at stake.
“This country has been, thanks to God, very stable. Such an act is putting the national stability at stake.
“People who committed this heinous act will pay the price dearly.
“Those who think that we will take this subject easily are definitely wrong,” Benkirane further stressed.
