Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- The prospective working visit of King Mohammed VI, by the end of 2015, to Russia revives speculations about the acquisition by the Moroccan kingdom of the Russian Amur 1650 submarine, especially that both countries are reaching their third year of negotiations on the price of the huge machine.
Experts say that the Russian submarine will cost the kingdom around $US 150 million.
Various local news outlets speculated previously that the various postponing of King Mohammed VI’s visit to Russia, initially scheduled to take place between June 1oth-13th 2014, following an official invitation of President Vladimir Putin to King Mohamed VI, may be due to ongoing negotiations around the submarine price tag.
