Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A statement from Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that “Morocco strongly condemns the odious and cowardly attack perpetrated, on Thursday, August 6th 2015, against prayer-performers in the mosque of the Headquarters of Saudi Arabia’s Special Forces in the city of Abha, leaving more than 15 dead from this corps which accomplishes one of the most important humane missions in the country.”
“While presenting its sincere condolences to the sisterly Saudi Arabia and the victims’ families, the Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, reaffirms its constant commitment to supporting it in the fight against all acts and attempts that threaten its security and stability and denounces this terrorist crime which targets peace and the religion of peace,” the statement closed.
