Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Mohamed El Ouafa, Minister Delegate in charge of General affairs and governance, declared in a statement published yesterday by said Ministry that the petroleum products sector is now officially liberalized.
In said statement, El Ouafa stressed that the Ministry of General Affair will no longer publish any information in relation to fuel prices in Morocco.
From now on, it is the Interministerial Commission of Prices that will monitor the rates charged at gas stations, taking into account any changes in prices of refined petroleum products in the well-known Rotterdam market in the Netherlands.
