Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- In a bet to cut its global production costs to cope with increased competition in the large-cabin market, particularly in Latin America, Russia and China, leading aircraft manufacturer Bombardier is changing its strategic plans.
This will lead the company to strengthen its presence in countries where labor costs are cheaper, namely to Mexico, Morocco, and India.
Part of this new strategy, Bombardier will transfer its relatively-not-complex tasks to its plants in Morocco, Mexico and India.
Complex tasks, on the other hand, will be kept in Montreal and Belfast.
