Morocco’s Minister of communication Khalfi said recently that Morocco nabbed around 120 terrorist cells since 2002.

Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- A statement released yesterday night by the Moroccan Ministry of Interior said that the Moroccan authorities arrested two Turkish nationals and a Moroccan accomplice who have links with operational leaders of ISIS in the city of Oujda, a Moroccan city bordering Algeria.

While the statement did not specify if the two Turkish nationals entered the Moroccan soil legally or crossed illegally through Algeria, it stated however that they were “involved in the hacking of a national telephone operator, using developed technical equipment.”

The statement also said that the arrested elements were ISIS supporters and that early investigation revealed that one of the two Turkish nationals had received a training in the use of weapons in the Syrian town of Hama.

It is worth reminding that Morocco has just snatched two days earlier a three-member ISIS-linked terrorist cell.
