Rabat, Morocco (TMT)-In an interview given to Moroccan news outlet Le360.ma, the Head of the Moroccan Government, Mr Abdellilah Benkirane stressed “that the reform of the Moroccan Pension Fund is irreversible,” further stating that “it will take place in 2016 via a bill to be submitted in the parliament.”
“I will perform this reform at any cost, because it is in the interest of the members of the Moroccan Pension Fund,” Benkirane said.
According to said source, Benkirane acknowledged that his government has failed to meet all social demands.
“We have responded positively to some complaints regarding social demands in Morocco, but we recognize that we have not been able to meet others,” the Moroccan Head of the Government stressed.
