Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- According to a news story featured in yesterday’s edition of the Moroccan daily Akhbar Al Yaoum, a group of Moroccans discovered a newborn baby girl inside a cardboard box in the province of Taroudant, located around 80 kms east of Agadir.
Akhbar Al Yaoum, quoting from local witnesses, said that “the baby girl was less than 1 month old” and that “she was left on the roadside.”
Even though the infant was left almost naked as the photo above shows, she was thankfully found alive and in good health, local witnesses said.
Local witnesses who made the shocking discovery contacted the Moroccan Royal Gendarmerie, who came at the scenes and took the newborn to the Children Department of Hospital Hassan II in Agadir.
