Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The skeleton of a 4-year-old girl, who disappeared one month ago while shepherding her family’s cattle in a remote area of Tinghir’s countryside, was discovered by a pack of nomadic herders in the vicinity of Tinghir.
The nomadic herders, who were aware of the girl’s disappearing as her case was on the mouths and ears of all of Tinghir’s locals given that the authorities were looking for her for days now, were appalled at the sight of the shocking scene.
Once the discovery made, they alerted the authorities, whom, with the help of the victim’s father, identified the victim thanks to the color of her clothing, found nearby the skeleton, all torn away.
The local authorities said that stray dogs have apparently fed on the 4-year-old girl.
The authorities said that the skeleton was sent to a forensic pathologist in a bet to get some clues around the girl’s exact cause of death, given that the pedophilia track has not been ruled out as the initial cause of death, especially that Tinghir was the stronghold of a criminal who killed no less than 4 kids last years before getting arrested.
The criminal used to sexually abuse kids of the region before killing them, to finally dispose of their bodies in remote areas.
