Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Leading Aeronautics company Daher Aerospace will be opening a new plant in Morocco’s industrial hub, the Tangier free zone, just 500 meters away from the company’s first plant in said zone.
The new plant will focus, among others, on a product line for manufacturing various components for the Airbus A320.
Daher already employs around 550 people in Morocco and will hire a further 250 for its third plant in Tangier.
The company is expected to invest around 15 million euros for the new plant, which includes the acquisition of a 10,000 square meters site.
