Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco’s Minister of Interior Mohammed Hassad said yesterday that Morocco and Germany signed a new “global security agreement” that covers all forms of crimes, particularly that of terrorism.
Hassad who held an official meeting with his German counterpart Thomas de Maizière, currently on a visit to Rabat said, “We agreed to cooperate and have signed a new agreement on global security that encompasses all forms of crime, particularly against the phenomenon of terrorism.”
Among others, Morocco has agreed to repatriate Moroccans who reached Germany illegally [some with fake Syrian passports] in guise of “Syrian migrants fleeing the ongoing war in Syria.”

Thomas de Maizière said that “Morocco’s fingerprint database is of high quality. This will help determine the identities of many unidentified migrants.”
