Morocco’s OCP Group Announces the Creation of Its Subsidiary “OCP Africa”

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco’s Office Chérifien des Phosphate Group (OCP), the world’s leading producer and exporter of phosphates in all forms and an essential player on the fertilizers market, announced the creation of a new subsidiary company, OCP Africa, committed to the development of the agricultural ecosystem in Africa.

This new entity aims to contribute to meeting the challenge of creating structured, efficient and sustainable agriculture on the continent of Africa, by providing agricultural producers with all the resources they need in order to succeed: suitable, affordable products, services and partnerships, logistics and financial solutions.

To support the local development, OCP AFRICA plans to open about fifteen subsidiaries in Africa over the coming months.

The new entity has just been granted CFC status. This label is a real asset for the company in facilitating its investments and operations across the continent.
