Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A Moroccan decided to sue Morocco’s National Telecommunication Regulatory Agency (known under its French acronym ANRT) after he filed a complaint with the Administrative Court against Morocco’s head of the government, Abdelilah Benkirane, the chairman of the ANRT board.

The main aims with his complaint to revert the VoIP block decision by the ANRT.

Moroccans have tried pretty much all ways to revert the block decision. Initially they shut down their phones during a whole weekend, before heavily unliking Morocco’s Internets Service Providers’ Facebook pages.

Moroccans living abroad also contacted king Mohammed VI, the highest authority in the country, asking him to revert the block as they “can’t keep in touch anymore with their family members.”

Moroccans are even planning, at the end of march, to not pay their monthly Internet and mobile phones subscription plans.
