Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A Moroccan man in his sixties was sentenced to twenty-five years in prison after he raped his 10-year-old niece.
The judgment was pronounced by Rabat’s court of appeal last Thursday.
According to the uncle’s initial story, it was the 10-year-old girl who asked him for sex.
The man even claimed that his niece has forced him to have sex with him, even threatening to commit suicide if he fails to honor her desires.
The uncle’s story was of course utter nonsense, and the man confessed his crime after it was clear to him he would spend long years behind bars if he persists in his lies.
The case initially went to court following the mother of the victim, the criminal’s sister, discovering that her kid was raped.
The woman made no bones, since the first day, about revealing the identity of the perpetrator of this criminal act, her brother.
The 10-year-old is suffering as a result of severe psychological problems.
