Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- Yusuf Buhari, the son of Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari, said on the sidelines of the 2nd edition in Dakhla of the “Crans Montana Forum,” that he hopes to see a better cooperation between African countries in the future, giving some insights also on how the Sahara issue could be solved.

The young man gave also some insights on how to solve some of Africa s current challenges, as well as the means to be implemented to restore hope among all Africans, from Morocco, in the utmost north of the continent, to South Africa, in the very south.

“We should be united, that is what will make of Africa one of the best continents in the world. This is a historical place and I know it has cost so much issues between countries, but I want to believe that inchallah, we’ll come together, stay together and be strong as it used to be before.”

When asked about how the sahara issue could be solved, Buhari stressed, among others, that it is through dialogue and diplomacy that this issue could be solved.

“The solution is just peaceful talks, Whatever crisis is happening, getting a solution will go through dialogue, diplomacy. Those are the solution to this,” Buhari stressed.

“Trust me, with dialogue, we’ll have come a long way,” Buhari added.

It is worth reminding that this year s theme of the Forum is «Africa and the South South cooperation: Better governance for sustainable development and economy».

The event saw the participation of more than 850 well-known figures and 27 regional and international organizations.
