Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- While giving an interview to Moroccan radio Chanel Asswat on the current diplomatic tussle between Morocco and Ban Ki-moon, the secretary-general of the Unified Socialist Party, Nabila Mounib said that “Ban Ki-moon has made a mistake, a big one.”

“As the head of the UN, he made a big mistake vis-à-vis the Moroccan people.

“He went further in his mistake when he greeted Morocco’s Foreign Minister in a very unprofessional way.

“If I were in Mezouar’s shoes, [FM of Morocco] I would have refused to greet him [following the unprofessional reaction].

“I would not greet him and I would not care about the repercussions of my acts simply because the United Nations, instead of being an institution that fosters peace, humiliates countries and weakens their integrity.

“We all know that the UN is a puppet in the hands of many lobbies that give orders, based on their interests,” Nabila Mounib stressed.
