Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- Various images were shared today by Polisario-front supporters on social media platforms showing the kick off of military exercises performed by the separatist entity.
Some Polisario supporters were rejoicing the event, with some of them commenting, “We are preparing for whatever the future may bring,” hinting out that a war with Morocco may start soon.
The military exercise is taking place in the east region of the buffer zone, near Bir Lahlou, which Ban Ki-moon recently visited.
This military exercise comes on the sidelines of the spat that erupted between Morocco and the UN secretary General Ban Ki-moon, following this latter using the word “occupation” to refer to Morocco recovering its colonized lands from Spain in 1975, which lead Morocco expel dozens of United Nations staff deployed in the region.
