Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Egyptian football federation said it received a request from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to schedule a friendly game between the Moroccan national team and its Egyptian counterpart next May.
Morocco has officially qualified to the Afcon 2017 in Gabon after winning 2-0 against Cap Verde last Tuesday, while Egypt is on the verge of booking a seat as well after its 1-0 win against Nigeria.
The new Moroccan coach Hervé Renard has asked the Moroccan federation right after the Cap Verde game to schedule “an encounter with a very good African team,” one that will prove to be a good test for the claws and teethes of the Atlas lions.
