Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan authorities issued today an arrest warrant against a woman accused of child endangerment after abandoning two children who suffer from physical and mental disabilities in a shabby cottage in Drarga, a rural town located around 30 Kms away from Agadir.
The women locked the shabby cottage and left the two kids, aged 4 and 6 respectively, with almost no food.
The neighbors who discovered the drama said that both kids consumed their own feces after not eating for days.
Right after discovering this inhuman situation, neighbors, after providing the kids with food and clean water, contacted on the fly a local NGO, which in turn contacted Moroccan gendarmes.
Those latter came on the scenes and took the boys in expedition to the intensive care section of the Hassan II hospital in Agadir.
The General Prosecutor of Agadir issued on Saturday a nationwide arrest warrant against the woman, whom it is not clear yet if she is the mother of the two kids, or if she did kidnap them for begging purposes.
