Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco’s national football team upcoming Afcon 2017 qualifier game against Libya will be played in Tunisia’s capital Tunis, due to security concerns in Libya.

Morocco has already qualified to the Afcon 2017 in Gabon after four straight wins in a row in the qualifiers, cruising past Cap Verde with a 2-0 win during their last game in Rabat.

Since the triggering of the Arab spring, Libya has endured ongoing chaos as the government struggles to control former rebel groups, including NISIS affiliated groups. This has lead the Libyan authorities to schedule most of the Libyan football team home games either in Tunisia, Egypt, or Morocco.
