Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Boycotting teacher trainees are planning to take to the streets of Rabat next Thursday 14, to protest against the governmental decrees N: 588-15-2 and N: 589-15-2, and call for the Moroccan government to cancel the two decrees.

The national league for the coordination between boycotting teacher trainees said in a statement that it is planning to rally an “unprecedented number of people” this time.

It is worth reminding that the Morocan government proposed “a final solution” to to the teacher trainees dossier, one which goes by hiring 7000 teacher trainees next September, and then by taking the remaining 3000 ones next December, while keeping both governmental decrees N: 588-15-2 and N: 589-15-2.

Some teacher trainees (a non-underestimated minority) accepted the proposal, but others (a majority) did not and still take to the streets from time to time.
