Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco’s head of the government, Abdellilah Benkirane, said yesterday while speaking during a party gathering in Salé, Morocco that “the relation that characterizes me, and King Mohammed VI, and by extension the PJD party to King Mohammed VI, is a relation that stems from religious legitimacy, one based on obedience and respect.”
“We are soldiers behind him. We always tell him ‘always have trust in God, and we will always stand with you to face all of the nation’s issues.'”
Benkirane added, “I will tell you all something that may seem very odd an jarring to many, but it is the truth nevertheless.
“One time I told his majesty, even If you jail me, I will stand by your side,” Benkirane said.
“This is how we all should be,” Benkirane stressed.
“Yes you can criticize the king’s political decisions, but it should be within the the limits of morality and obedience.
“This is our conviction. We do not threaten the state,” Benkirane stressed.
