Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Following the impressive wave of condemnation in Morocco and around the world to condemn Ksar el-Kbir municipality staff sharing a video featuring them killing stray dogs in mass in said city, the Moroccan authorities have assured the Brigitte Bardo Foundation that “such acts will no longer happen.”

The mass slaughter of stray dogs in Ksar el-Kbir triggered the Brigitte Bardot Foundation to contact the Moroccan authorities. Members of the foundation were even received in the Moroccan Embassy in Paris to discuss the mass killing of stray dogs.

During the reception, the Moroccan authorities assured them that such actions will no longer happen in the future as the authorities will undertake from now on campaigns to sterilize and vaccinate stray dogs and cats in the North African Kingdom.
