Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A taxi driver passed away this morning in Tangier after he set himself on fire.
The man passed away few minutes after he was accepted at the Mohammed V hospital in Tangier.
The taxi driver was 39-year-old.
He set himself on fire at 6 am after carefully parking his taxi in the vicinity of Place Mekka.
According to initial speculations, the late decided to kill himself following the mysterious disappearance of his girlfriend, with this latter deciding to quit him to start a new life somewhere else.
A Tangier public prosecutor ordered the opening of an investigation to lift the fog on this mysterious case.
