Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The head of the Great Sahara faction of the terrorist organization Da’esh, or the Non-Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (NISIS), called for an attack on the offices of MINURSO [United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara].
In a voice record, the NISIS leader also called for attacking westerners visiting Morocco.
NISIS and its affiliates have been calling repeatedly, since the inception of the terrorist organization, for attacks in Morocco, but their calls were more of a dog’s barking as all NISIS threats were successfully thwarted by the Moroccan authorities.
Morocco is currently the only country in North Africa to have successfully thwarted all ISIS threats.
In 2015, Morocco was even ranked among the safest countries in the world [The only safe country in North Africa] according to the British Foreign Office (FCO).
