Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- In a pretty quite game, Morocco won 2-0 against Congo thanks to two goals from attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech, one of the brightest young players in the Eredivisie at the moment.
Hakim smashed home a free-kick at the 4th minute to put Morocco 1-0 up.
Ten minutes after the start of the second half, Ziyech scored a second goal from the penalty spot, even though the penalty was clearly gifted to the Moroccans as the replay clearly shows that the Congolese defender hit the ball first before obstructing Ziyech.
Nevertheless, Ziyech dispatched the penalty with a sumptuous Panenka.
Ziyech was without a shadow of doubt the standout player on the pitch.
