Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Only few days following the Moroccan Minister of Environment Hakima Haite saying, in a bet to sooth down the wave of uproar in Morocco, live on air on Morocco’s official state TV RTM that “the imported Italian garbage comes from the Pescara region, not from the suburbs of Naples,” leading Italian paper Il Sole 24 Ore, one of the most read Italian papers, associated with the Italian confederation of enterprises, said that “the 2500 tons of waste exported to Morocco emanate from Campania, located in the suburbs of Naples.”

Il Sole 24 Ore’s revelation will come as a slap in the face of the Moroccan Minister of Environment, especially given the notoriety of the paper, deemed Italy’s leading business paper.

Not only that as a matter of fact, but the article in question was written by , a well-known notorious journalist who has even worked a couple of months ago as the official spokesman of Italy’s Ministry of Environment.

Following this huge revelation, Hakima’s Haite’s days as head of the Ministry of Environment seem to be counted.

Hakima Haite is currently Morocco's most hated person, chiefly as a result of her role in the trash fiasco, Morocco's moment du jour. Above is a Photo-shopped image featuring the Moroccan Minister wearing trash-dress. The image was shared heavily on Moroccan social media platforms.
