Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Moroccan Royal Gendarmerie officers will soon be wearing small high-tech wifi-equipped cameras as part of the Moroccan Royal Gendarmerie newly adopted decision to use technology in a bet to protect its officers from any prospective corporal attack they may suffer from, including monitoring them live in a bet to clamp down on the scourge of bribes.

This decision came, among others, as a result of the Moroccan people calling for more transparency within police and Royal Gendarmerie departments across the country.

The use of body-worn cameras has proven to be instrumental in clamping down on the aforementioned scourges.

This has lead various countries around the world to adopt this technology, especially countries in North America and Europe.
