Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- According to the government commission for monitoring the elections, nearly half of Moroccans are entitled to cast their vote in the ballot boxes on the 7th of next October in the wake of the parliamentary elections.
In terms of figures, this represents a total of 15,702,592 Moroccans, 46% of the population, who are entitled to vote.
In 2011, only 41% of the population had pre-registered for the elections.
According to said source, 30% of the electorate are under 35, while 43% are between 35 and 54.
The remaining 27% are over the age of 54.
