Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The secretary general of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), Nabil Benabdellah said this morning in the wake of a party gathering held on the sidelines of the upcoming parliamentary elections, that “the PPS and the PJD have decided to stay together, whether in a new prospective government coalition, in case the PJD wins next elections, or in the opposition, if the PJD looses.”

Benabdellah stressed that he enjoyed working with Benkirane, further noting that “the members of our party are satisfied with the coalition’s performance, though we acknowledge that we went through a couple of difficult moments, which is quite normal.”

“My sincere greetings go to the head of the government for his patience in those moments, moments where the virtue of patience increased ten folds.

“Together we will continue our reform and our fight,” Benabdellah said.

The gathering saw the presence of Morocco’s head of the government Abdellilah Benkirane.
