Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Egypt’s Al Zamalek crushed a very weak Wydad Casablanca side 4-0 in the first leg of the African Champions League semi final.
The Wydad was incomprehensibly very weak, out of their style, which made Al Zamalek’s task “a cherry on the cake.”
All of Al Zamalek’s goals, as a matter of fact, came as a result of what can be described as “beginners” mistakes, ones that should never happen in a professional game, let alone an African Champions League semi final.
With such a heavy loss, and humiliation, Wydad are out of the semis, while Al Zamalek have sealed their ticket to the CAF Champions League final.
Wydad’s coach Toshack will be officially resigning in the few coming hours.
