Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Well-known German businessman Dietmar Gunz, head of the FTI group, one of the biggest travel agencies in Germany, said in an interview given to German news outlet Welt that Morocco will become the next Mallorca.
“The next big travel wave is towards Morocco. It is a safe destination with year-round good weather.
“It [Morocco] can be reached [from Germany] in about four hours.
“Morocco has been the Mallorca of the French people, and many of them have a second home there.
“The situation is now changing as the country is opening up to tourists from other countries more and more,” Dietmar stressed.
