Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco’s King Mohammed VI began yesterday a three-nation tour of West Africa, landing in the republic of Rwanda yesterday night, with visits also planned to the United Republic of Tanzania and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

King Mohammed VI is accompanied by Prince Moulay Ismail and a delegation of senior officials, including several ministers.

Prominent Moroccan businessmen also accompany King Mohammed VI, including CEOs of Morocco’s most prominent banks, namely BMCE Bank, Attijariwafa Bank, the People’s Bank (Bank Populaire), and Credit Agricole Morocco, and the head of Casablanca Finance City Authority.

Rwanda, Tanzania and Ethiopia all still recognize the United-Nations non-recognized Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).
